In Mexico, soldiers burned the biggest amount of marijuana ever seized in the country. The total weight of that amount was 134 tons of marijuana. In Tijuana (Mexico), local law enforcement officers seized 15,300 packs of different caliber of marijuana. 11 people were seized during the operation.
Authority from Tijuana assumes that the goods belong to the Pacific cartel of Sinaloa – Mexico’s major drug traffickers. Previously it was reported that there are 105 tonnes found, however, after the authority carefully checked everything, they concluded that there was – 134 tons of marijuana.
Packages of marijuana were impregnated with diesel fuel.
